Great news for anyone looking to build or renovate – the Federal Government’s popular HomeBuilder grant has been extended!

Eligible participants may receive a grant of $15,000; a significant contribution to any new build or renovation. For those embarking on a new build in Victoria, the price cap to be eligible for the grant is $850,000.

Additional eligibility requirements for new builds:

• Contracts must be signed between 1 January and 31 March 2021 (inclusive)
• Construction must commence within six months of the contract being signed
• Applications must be submitted to the relevant State Revenue Office by 14 April 2021
• Where an eligible contract is signed on or after 29 November 2020, the builder or developer must have a valid license or registration before 29 November 2020
