Here at Fairhaven, we pride ourselves on our strong collaborations with trusted suppliers. This month we thought we would give you a closer look inside this process by talking to Kate from one of our longest suppliers and friends, Australian owned brand WK Quantum Quartz, as well as Gemma from the Product Design team here at Fairhaven. The two Interior Designers have worked closely for many years to produce spaces that are both practical and beautiful. Having such a tight relationship makes specifying and installing the latest stone trends in Fairhaven display homes, a seamless process.

Let’s take our newest Gippsland display home as an example of this collaboration, the Shoal 265. Located within the well-established Waterford Rise estate, the single storey design encapsulates the design essence we’re proud to be known for. Homes that offer a fresh take on modern, low maintenance living – with loads of inclusions and on-trend finishes, fixtures, and fittings. Boasting monochromatic tones with added warmth in timber elements, the Shoal 265’s luxurious hard finishes appeal to all tastes.

Gemma began by creating a moody colour palette, then worked through refining the furniture pieces; encompassing fine, black legs and contrasting soft fabrics, to create a home that has a modern feel. The Super White QuantumSix+ porcelain splashback adds a dramatic feature in the Kitchen, which exudes opulence. WK Quantum Quartz’ porcelain range capture’s the beauty of natural stone with better durability and versatility. Offering a huge workable space allows for the perfect splashback material that avoids the need for lots of grout or sealing and is a sustainable alternative to natural stone, whilst being more affordable. They’re also mould resistant and flameproof allowing for better use, closer to cooktops. A massive 3200mm long sheet can avoid the need for any grout in some applications – a big YES!

Complimenting the beautiful porcelain splashback are the Alpine White reconstituted stone benchtops, finished in a 40mm edge with waterfall ends and handle less joinery.
